About "Porsche 356"

About the artwork

In the early 1930s, the engineering firm established by Ferdinand Porsche in Stuttgart developed the plans for the VW Beetle, which after World War II became one of the most built models in automotive history. The proceeds were invested in the development of Porsche's own sports car, which became the manufacturer's first model, the Porsche 356, in 1948 and was produced in four generations until 1965. Then it was replaced by the Porsche 911. Today Porsche 356 coupes and convertibles are sought after classic cars.
Beetle technique for the Porsche 356

It was equipped with a better performing air-cooled boxer engine, which was placed at the rear of the car and drove the rear wheels of the Porsche 356. Four different engines were available, with power outputs between 29 kW (40 hp) and 51 kW (70 hp) and displacements of 1.0, 1.3 or 1.5 litres. The Porsche 356 top model with a 1.5 litre sports engine achieved
