Red poppies spring up all over Umbria in Italy from early May. It seems like every corner you turn there is another breath-taking view, all with glorious splodges of red. Some of them hide among the tall grass, making red statements in the hedgerows. Others hide in the grass on the edge of woodland as we can see here.
