Stage arrivals in the Tour de France are always a bit chaotic, riders trying to manoeuvre insight into a favourable position for the sprint, there are road closures flags and police. I tried to capture something of this bustle in this work, using the French tricolour as the basic colours. The blue arrows point in all directions and the red ribbons go right through them, and meanwhile the cyclists try to be the first to cross the finish line. Beautiful and colourful work for the cycling enthusiast
Although working as a lyrical chronicler, sometimes I see things that are not there; I photograph and edit them.
