About ‘Pole heads to the depths Vlissingen’ by R Smallenbroek

The poles on the beach of Flushing, are not real breakwaters but a construction to prevent the beach from wearing away by the currents along the coast. The depth of field fascinates photographers and other visual artists alike. The shot was taken with a long exposure time of 14 sec, so the sky and water do not have a strong show-through…

Started analogue as a hobby photographer, then let go for years and already passionately photographing for years now. Not a day goes by that I am not busy with photography and can not imagine a life without it. It is wonderful to be able to share the beauty that I see and experience and wonderful when others experience the same when seeing the image. I am mainly concerned with landscape photography where the key word is atmosphere!
