About "Poetry of the mountains - the Hohe Ifen in a play of light and clouds"

by Walter G. Allgöwer

About the artwork

The impressive mountain panorama of the Allgäu Alps rises majestically above gently rolling forests and lush alpine meadows - a silent spectacle of nature, captured between heaven and earth. From the Zeigersattel, the view sweeps far over the Kleinwalsertal, where the world seems to breathe in silence and vastness. The Hohe Ifen, with its characteristic high plateau, towers majestically over the countryside - its rocky back marked by the last snows of spring, a silent sentinel for centuries.
Wispy clouds dance playfully through the valley, as if they want to caress the peaks before moving on. The sun fights its way through the veil of clouds and gives the mountains moments of light - golden accents on dark rock, an interplay of shadow and light. In this grandiose setting, time seems to flow more slowly, as if the heart of the Alps itself is pausing for a moment.
It is a place that is deeply moving in its wild beauty - powerful and yet tender, rough and yet full of poetry. A place that doesn't call out loudly, but speaks quietly - of wind and weather, of eternity and the moment, of the quiet magic of the mountains.
