The pit bull, officially known as the American Pit Bull Terrier, is a medium-sized, powerful dog breed known for its athletic build, determination and strong bond with its owner. This dog has a muscular but graceful body with a broad chest, a well-defined jaw and a short, glossy coat that comes in almost every colour and pattern, from solid black, white and brown to brindle or spotted. The ears are often semi-standing or folded forward, and the eyes are almond-shaped and expressive. Despite its muscular appearance, the pit bull is known for its playful, gentle and loyal nature. This breed is exceptionally intelligent, energetic and trainable, making it suitable for dog sports, obedience training and even therapy work. Pitbulls are naturally loving and sociable, especially with their families, but need consistent upbringing and socialisation to manage their confident nature. They need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to prevent them from becoming bored, which can lead to unwanted behaviour. Although they are sometimes wrongly seen as aggressive, pit bulls are in reality warm and affectionate dogs that are excellent companions for owners who raise them with care and love.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
