In the enchanted bamboo forest, under the densely packed branches and among the soft leaves, lived an extraordinary panda called Pippin. Unlike his black-and-white companions, Pippin had an insatiable love for music, and his instrument of choice was a unique bamboo ukulele.
Pippin's music reached beyond the bamboo forest. His ukulele brought joy not only to animals, but also to people deep in the heart of the neighbouring village. People gathered to listen to the magical sounds of Pippin's bamboo ukulele and were enchanted by the harmonies emanating from the forest.
And so the panda troubadour, with his bamboo-ukelele and a heart full of melodies, continued to spread musical bliss through the forest and far beyond, where his songs built a bridge between nature and communities, and where everyone, big or small, could enjoy the magic of Pippin's musical journey.
First, the inspiration for this work is the panda bear itself. Panda is a pet name of mine coined by my husband. So Pandas are very special animals to me anyway and this Pippin is entirely too cute for words.
