About the artwork

The district of Zell am See is one of the six political districts in the state of Salzburg. It is congruent with the Pinzgau, one of the five districts of the Austrian state.

In the east, the district borders on the Pongau, in the west on the state of Tyrol, in the north on Bavaria (Germany) and in the south from west to east on South Tyrol (Italy), East Tyrol and Carinthia.

In this landscape, winter shows itself with a white blanket of snow and trees without leaves between the mountains with a farmhouse in the middle.

Josef Stoitzner (February 1884 in Vienna, Austria; July 6, 1951 in Bramberg im Pinzgau, Land Salzburg) was an Austrian painter and graphic artist.

Stoitzner was represented at all major German art exhibitions in Munich from 1938 to 1943.

Josef Stoitzner remained dedicated to mood impressionism throughout his life; his early or late winter landscapes are highly characteristic, in which meticulously executed branches of bare trees contrast with the soft clarity of patches of snow and a clear evening sky.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
