Pink flowers of the sea knot

by Marjolijn van den Berg

The photo "Pink flowers of the Zeeuws Knoopje" is a macro photo of three small flowers of a Zeeuws Knoopje. These little flowers are pink with olive green in colour. The outer petals of the two outer flowers are already fully open. The middle flower still has its petals partly wrapped around the stamens.
The background has become a kind of gradient of different warm brown tones. (This is because of the unusual material I had as background and how the light stood out here). The warm brown colours, which remind me of cognac brown and rust brown, among others, give the photo an autumn atmosphere. The Pink flowers nicely detached from the background.
I kept the depth of field small in this photo. If you zoom in on the photo, you can see that the focus is on the front side of the flowers. This gives a sense of calm and depth to the photo.
This photo could hang beautifully as wall decoration in the bedroom, waiting room, hallway or of course just above the sofa!
