Pink and Purple Clouds – Abstract Alcohol-Ink Art

by Joke Gorter

Add a touch of pure elegance and vibrant colour to your interior with ‘ 'Pink and Purple Clouds' ’.
This refined, abstract artwork has been created with the utmost precision using the alcohol ink technique (fluid art). Organic, wafer-thin layers in intense fuchsia, bright magenta and deep velvety purple flow poetically across the canvas. The transparent overlaps create a fascinating interplay of light and shadow, reminiscent of the delicate petals of an orchid or a cosmic nebula.
Against the serene, light background, the shades of pink and purple truly leap off the wall. This piece creates a stunning, warm contrast in a sleek, modern or industrial interior (such as above an anthracite-grey or black wall), but is equally at home in a ‘Hotel Chique’ or minimalist style. A stunning eye-catcher for the living room, bedroom or a stylish entrance hall.
The artist’s material recommendation:
As this artwork thrives on transparency, fine details and intense colour depth, I recommend having it printed on Acrylglas (glossy). The glass enhances the clarity of the ink layers, making the work look as though it is still wet, and lends a breathtaking, luxurious sense of depth to the wall.
