This special type of pile dwelling is mainly found in Sankt Peter-Ording.
On this November day at the North Sea, the weather was exactly as expected: windy, grey and cold. And that's exactly what created this special atmosphere for me. After all, the pile dwellings on the beach at Sankt Peter-Ording are built so high for a reason. They have to withstand the tides, wind and waves. All of this is reflected in this picture for me.
Even though I converted this photo into black and white, it was hardly necessary. It was a typical November grey that day. There were hardly any colours that were perceptible to the eye, so black and white processing was the obvious choice for me.
As a supplement, there is also a picture of the Westerhever lighthouse in the same processing in my portfolio. It is only a few kilometres away, so these two photos make a wonderful combination for any North Sea lover.
