Dorothea Maetzel-Johannsen (Lensahn, February 6, 1886 - Hamburg, February 8, 1930) was a German painter. She worked under the influence of the style avant-garde, then a modern art. Between 1907 and 1909 she trained as a drawing teacher in Hamburg, after which she taught at a school in Schleswig, Schleswig-Holstein. She developed her own style in impressionism and modernism.
