About the artwork
"Pastel-coloured panorama: Droplets on the fluffy bulb of the dandelion" is a macro photograph of some fluffy bulb attached to a fluffy bulb of a dandelion. Droplets hang and lie on and on this fuzz ball. A soothing image from nature which comes across as soft.
Because a shallow depth of field was chosen, only a small part of the drops and fluff are in focus. This softens the image and gives it a dreamy, calm look. It also creates a sense of depth in the work. The further a drop or fluff is from the focus point, the fainter it becomes. The focal point in this picture is near the middle fluff at the point where the stem transitions into the fluffy part. This work has been cropped to panorama size (1:2).
Great for above your bed in the bedroom, for example, in the waiting room as wall decoration or in the conference room (business). Or of course above the sofa in the living room!
