"Pastel colours in the morning: The water droplets hang from a fluff" is a macro photo of a very small piece of a large fluffy bulb of a plant called Tragopogon. (In the Netherlands, this plant is also called Morgenster). The tiny water droplets stuck to the fluff give a nice effect. They magnify what is behind. If you zoom in on the photo, you can see this.
Two soft old pink squares that are in the background can be vaguely seen, bringing the colour into the photo.
Because it's such a small part that was photographed, it takes on something abstract; normally you don't see this with the naked eye, and certainly not from this perspective.
When making this photo, I chose a shallow depth of field, which creates a sense of depth in the photo because everything in the background and foreground becomes increasingly blurred as it moves further away from the focal point.
This photo could hang beautifully on aluminium in the bedroom, for example!
