About ‘Pastel-coloured Adriatic with mountains and buoys’ by Elma Maaskant

On the coast of Senj, the sea is calm and soft in pastel shades. The three buoys float silently on the water and in the distance, the lighthouse stands like a sentinel on the horizon, framed by mountains slowly merging into the sky.

I remember how peaceful it was here, how the silence and soft light balanced…
