setting sun in Paris, evening begins on the balcony overlooking the highlight of Paris, a not exactly standard set table but that does not detract from the vista of Paris, Matisse/Soutine/Hockney/Picasso are woven into the image in terms of colour and shape as inspiration. The cat watches the viewer somewhat unsuspectingly, the open windows inviting the viewer into this metaphysical world. Anyone who has been to Paris will recognise the buildings, the roofs, the colours, a tranquil moment in a metropolis that has lost none of its allure, wandering around where contemporary art was invented, where poverty and success go hand in hand, where many an artist has died penniless but her/his work lives on and serves as inspiration for the generation to come
