The Papilio demodocus is a butterfly in the pages family and its wingspan is between 100 and 130 millimetres. This butterfly species is found in the tropical parts of central Africa, southern Africa and Madagascar. In the butterfly garden, it also successfully reproduces.
This butterfly was photographed in butterfly garden Philodila which is located in a healthcare facility. The butterfly garden is a place where beautiful encounters take place. It is a place of connection. It is a place of us together. Together, we care for the beautiful butterflies and the butterflies provide moments of happiness. This small garden depends on donors, gifts and volunteers. It is wonderful to see how the residents respond to these happy flutterers. But everyone is welcome and are also happy to give education to schools.
All proceeds therefore go straight back to the butterfly garden.
