"Panoramic beach feeling! Shells in orange - beige colours" is a photo from a series in which I try to capture a beach feeling. For this photo, I photographed shells that all have an orange - beige colour. To create an expansive feeling, I chose to turn this photo into a panorama.
I found these ribbed shells (I think they are cockles) on the Dutch coast.
The focus in this photo is on the middle shell. From this shell, the sharpness gradually decreases towards the back (and forward). This gives a sense of depth to the work and immediately draws attention to the middle shell. This creates calmness in the photo.
A natural-feeling photo that exudes a sense of calm and holiday for my liking! This work could hang beautifully in a holiday home, bedroom, waiting room or of course just above the couch in the living room!
