This panoramic work shows a series of tall buildings photographed from the top floor of the Symphony building in the Zuidas, the financial district of the city of Amsterdam. It is a district full of well-dressed businessmen who flock in large numbers to the sleek, upscale restaurants and cocktail bars in the neighborhood.
The photograph was shot in portrait mode, accentuating the height of the buildings. It shows the Gustav Mahlerlaan where it is fairly quiet, because it is Saturday. In the background you can see the New Lake. The photo was taken during the Open Tower Day 2022. The Open Tower Day Amsterdam is an annual event in Amsterdam. The objective is to open up old and contemporary towers that are not normally visited.
This work can be ordered in color as well as in black and white.
