"Panorama natural abstraction: Drops on grass spikes" is a macro shot of a number of water droplets hanging from a grass spike (lamprey grass). The colours in this photo give it a natural look. The shades of brown (including beige and taupe) and the grey-brown background partly ensure this. The natural (blurred) representation of the grass spikes also contributes to this. Tranquillity and simplicity.
Because I chose a very small depth of field when taking this photo, only a few droplets / small pieces of spikes are in focus. The other parts blur the further they get from this focus point (plane), giving a great sense of depth to the work. You can still vaguely see the outlines of the spikes in dark grey-brown tones in the background. In the foreground, you can see the sprigs coming towards the camera from the spikes, with the water droplets attached. The vagueness of this work (also due to the editing) makes it appear almost painterly in the out-of-focus areas. If you zoom in, you can get an impression. This work has been cropped to panoramic size.
