Panorama featuring a Japanese Zen landscape with a pavilion and a reflection of a mountain

by Studio Pieternel

● Exclusive design for Werk aan de Muur / Art Heroes

In this panoramic design, an atmospheric Eastern mountain landscape stretches out alongside a still lake.
On the left-hand side stands a traditional wooden pavilion with a thatched roof, surrounded by graceful pine trees and tufts of reed. The imposing mountain range on the horizon is beautifully reflected in the still water, creating a deep and soothing Zen atmosphere.

The work is executed on a background with a tactile rice paper texture and utilises warm sepia, copper and soft blue-grey ink-wash styles.

This serene piece combines traditional Eastern landscape art with the classic Sumi-e ink technique. The harmonious balance between the landscape, the subtle reflections and the soft earth tones instantly brings a sense of calm, space and serenity to the surroundings.

The design fits perfectly within the popular Japandi, Wabi-Sabi and modern Asian interior trends, which centre on balance, natural materials and soothing vistas. Thanks to its wide panoramic format, it makes an ideal focal point above a spacious sofa, a sideboard or as a feature behind the bed.

This artwork is available in almost any size, and there is a choice of many high-quality finishes, such as: wallpaper, canvas, ArtFrame, aluminium, acrylic glass and photo print.
