Panorama and sunset in the Duurswold Westerpolder, Kolham by Henk Meijer Photography

A spectacular panoramic sunset in 65:24 Xpan format over the water at the Duurswold Westerpolder observation tower near Kolham, in the province of Groningen.

The wooden observation tower stands out prominently in the open polder landscape and offers views of tranquil waterways, marshes and the surrounding grasslands.
As the sun sets, the sky fills with warm golden and orange hues, whilst dramatic clouds and their reflections create a beautiful sense of depth across the vast landscape.

The ultra-wide panoramic composition emphasises the vastness and peaceful character of the Groningen countryside and captures a serene summer evening, surrounded by water, reeds and an open sky. This photograph was taken with a professional Hasselblad X2D II 100C, a 100-megapixel camera, and a Hasselblad lens for the very highest quality in sharpness and detail.
