The Pancake Rocks near Punakaiki are a special natural phenomenon on the west coast of the South Island of New Zealand. The name comes from their special shape: piles of pancakes. I must say I didn't expect so much from this place, which is very touristy. But I was impressed. There are blowholes/blowholes in several places where the seawater certainly spurts out at high tide. What a force of nature! I was lucky that there was actually a rainbow at one of the blowholes.
I love traveling and photographing. My favorite types of photography are street photography and landscape photography. I usually take colorful photos. But sometimes a photo comes out better in black and white.
