This is a photo taken at what was once the largest building of the country. At first the palace was used as a ‘house’, and later as a sanatorium. The area around the building(s) is still beautiful, with a lot of unusual plants and trees.
There is an interesting legend about this place. The wife of the owner of the building was sick with tuberculosis. The building is said to have had 365 rooms. Every day, she slept in a different room where the air was clear of bacilli on advice of one of the doctors. The woman recovered and is said to have lived 90 years.
