An abandoned paint shop somewhere in Belgium. The owner shut the shop door and never returned. The colour pigments are brightly coloured in the rather further dark space. The atmosphere of the past is still there, outside you can hear people walking by, unable to guess what is behind the closed doors. Emptiness and the past meet here, the shelves are still filled with cans of paint and repair materials. On the floor is a thick layer of fillers and other binders, containing footprints from the present. Many litres of paint have been made in this space, by a true craftsman.
