Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘PINK HORIZON’ by db Waterman

PINK HORIZON is an abstract mixed-media painting in which a beach landscape emerges from layers of color, texture, and weathered paint. The soft pink horizon creates a striking contrast with the blue of the sea and the warm, earthy tones of the beach.

In this piece, I have incorporated the remnants of old boats, and their peeling paint, into the landscape itself. Layers of rusty orange, red, and dark tones give the painting a weathered, richly textured appearance, evoking the look of a beach and boats exposed to wind, sea, and sun for years.

A few seagulls fly above the horizon, grounding the abstract landscape in a specific setting and atmosphere. The multitude of layers, scratches, traces of paint, and intricate details make PINK HORIZON a piece that remains captivating to look at.

A contemporary work for enthusiasts of abstract art, seascapes, beach scenes, weathered aesthetics, and paintings rich in texture and character.

Materials used: canvas, layers of plaster, acrylic paint, watercolor, ink, and pastels.

The multifaceted works by Ans

Gelaagd, gedetailleerd interessant

Thirteen years ago, I resumed my work as an artist. I started out without a budget for expensive paint or large canvases. Instead, I used old leftover paint, worn-out newspapers and magazines. This formed the basis of my first collages.
Through experimentation, I discovered that art is not about expensive materials, but about creativity, layering and the ability to see beauty in imperfection.

I combine photography, collage and various mixed-media techniques to…
