Oyster mushroom on a pedestal is a photo I took to show vegetables from a different angle. This delicate vegetable deserves a stage. The common oyster mushroom is a mushroom in the family Pleurotaceae. It is a saprotrophic fungus commonly found on trunks of dead or damaged deciduous trees on which they grow in groups like oysters on an oyster bed. This oyster mushroom is grown on the waste of coffee. The waste from coffee used in restaurants, so the coffee grounds are collected and used to cultivate the oyster mushroom in a damp cellar. The colour is a beautiful white. I love making still lifes of fruit or vegetables and flowers like this. Take a look at my other photos. This picture would look great in a restaurant or kitchen. The background is a wooden board that I painted myself with a blue tint but in such a way that the grain can still be seen so that it has a natural look.
