This painting is a typical image you expect to see at Southeast Asia. With countries and islands such as Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia. Where the fishermen are already taking to the water, when we are still sleeping. With their characteristic wooden boats and a long stick to move around. Surrounded by high mountains whose peaks can be seen just above the fog. Here and there a small uninhabited island with some trees reflecting on the water. A peaceful and serene image where you can see the birds flying by in the distance.
I made the painting with watercolors. Real handiwork! The original is 40 x 50 cm, but the nice thing about a print is that you can choose any size and material you want.
The painting has been photographed in such a way that the structure of the watercolor paper is still clearly visible. This has the advantage that it looks even more like a real painting, even though it is a print.
