Oshkosh Striker fire engine at Boeing Field.
The Oshkosh Striker is a customised airport rescue and firefighting vehicle built by the Oshkosh Corporation. This vehicle is available in 3 versions. The smallest version has a 5,700-litre water tank and 4x4 wheel drive. The next one has a water tank of about'11,400 litres and 6x6-wheel drive. The largest version has a 17,000-litre water tank and 8x8-wheel drive.
The Striker was introduced in 2001 and have been continuously modernised over the years to meet the increasingly stringent requirements of aviation authorities. in 2019, the 8x8 version was introduced.
