This painting was started from feeling.
Without prior visualisation, I put the first watercolour strokes on paper, intuitively, without a plan.
During our month-long family trip through Thailand, I was invited to let my feelings speak for themselves.
The focus was entirely on our small setting: no appointments, no external stimuli, no set dynamics.
Just us, exploring in a country full of colour, warmth and beautiful people.
That peace and simplicity brought space to refine.
To play with geometric shapes, squares, rectangles, and with fresh colours like yellow, blue, red and green.
A work that not only says something about that journey, but also about how I experienced that month, free, open and connected.
