Happy bouncing orbitals!
A collage of several "orbitals" described by the spherical harmonic function Y_33.
I am drawing lines (with code - JavaScript/threejs) on the surfaces of nested shapes (No AI), looking at the structure from different perspectives, and creating a collage from seven of these views.
Spherical harmonic functions are building blocks of somewhat spherical distributions of "stuff" in physics - like electric charge or probabilities in quantum mechanics. This image alludes to the latter!
Colors are not related to physics - they should just emphasize how jubilant these orbitals are!
