It was a windy day in Zeeland (Netherlands). Windy, but with a beautiful blue summer sky with white clouds. The beach at Oostkapelle was therefore almost deserted.
The beach pavilion "Zeecafé" was open, but there were no guests. So I could quietly take photos'there.
For me, an open window always has something poetic. And here you have a clear view of the sea. The beach is empty, this gives a feeling of space and freedom.
What I like about the picture, besides the motif and the calm colours, are especially the textures and the minimalist character.
Moreover, the window line runs diagonally far into the picture. This creates an optical tension.
I am from Germany, but spend a lot of time in Zeeland, the southern province of the Netherlands.
