This housemother scene was shot during the 'Call me desperate' shoot in winter 2024.
What makes this picture so unique is the desperate look in the eyes of the housewife who at this point realises that as a child, you can only make calls on a Fisher Price phone. In an adult life, these fantasies are no longer possible.
As an art photographer, I always try to create a contrast where two extremes meet.

My works are recognisable by the format (16x9) which refers to my work as an image maker where I see 16:9 (widescreen) as standard. Every work where a model is shown is this one with bare feet. For me, this symbolises our contact with nature, which we are increasingly losing in today's society.
