On a warm late summer evening, I decided to go to the water. The night before, a lot of colour appeared in the sky. Since it was overcast, I hoped the same would happen on this particular evening. What I hoped came true. When the sun practically disappeared and sank behind the horizon, all the light reflected against the underside of the clouds. This gave the sky an intense orange glow. Using a wide-angle lens, I was able to capture the most impressive part, including the reflection in the water. The shutter speed of 2 minutes, smeared the sky beautifully. This also created a huge softness and fanned shape in the clouds. This was truly a goosebump moment. As a photographer, you can only dream of this and I returned home very satisfied. What fun this hobby is.
