Barren and deserted, that's how I will always remember Oman. And then there are these infinite nuances of ochre tones, warm colours of the earth, lighter in some places, then deep brown again.
The horizon infinitely far away, mountains at the transition to a sky that often shines brightly in soft colours from the flying sand. Not a bright blue, but a radiant glow. One that you can sink into.
