In picturesque Honfleur lies this old famous little port.
Especially 's a nice place to visit in the evening.
It is lovely to stroll through picturesque streets, past centuries-old houses and around the atmospheric old port. Honfleur has weathered the centuries well, which is why much beauty has been preserved here. Honfleur is not one of the most visited cities in France for nothing. The town is internationally renowned for many reasons: the charm of its narrow cobbled streets, the beautiful facades of the old houses, the atmospheric shops, the numerous cosy hotels and characteristic restaurants, as well as the many monuments and the wealth of its historical, cultural and artistic heritage. In Honfleur, the atmosphere is warm and cosy, typical of a small town with great allure.

THE CITY OF PAINTERS
Honfleur has a fishing port and a pleasure port. But it is also the city of painters and impressionism. Here, at the mouth of the Seine, the 'beautiful light' inspired artists such as Courbet, Monet, Boudin and others.
