The Elbe Bridge near Barby is a 757 m long railway bridge with a footbridge for pedestrians and cyclists. The structure stands near Barby and spans the Elbe and, in the foreland area, the Nuthe shortly before its mouth. It was built in the course of the Berlin-Blankenheim railway line, a section of the so-called Kanonenbahn from Berlin to Metz, in the 1870s.
