Near the Swarovski factory in Wattens (Austria) is a garden where there are many works of art with swarovski crystals in them. The crowning piece of the new garden is the Crystal Cloud, created by Andy Cao and Xavier Perrot. This monumental installation floats above the black Mirror Pool and invites visitors to pause and be inspired.
Covering an area of some 1,400 square metres, this mystical masterpiece is the largest work of its kind in the world. The Crystal Cloud consists of about 800,000 hand-mounted Swarovski crystals.
A descending path leads visitors to the Mirror Pool, where the light from the crystals is captured like stars glittering in the night sky - even in broad daylight. Countless fireflies create magical light; as if in an enchanted fairy garden, they fly and dance through the air, guiding visitors across the walkway.
