In the black rock of his body, nothing is diluted. His eyes, ancient embers, do not seek to impose, but to bear witness. Witness to what? Of a frozen world, of an ancient pact, of a frontier that can only be crossed in silence.
This drawing was born of a desire to evoke the immobile force. Not one that agitates or fights, but one that anchors itself. This dragon is not a conqueror. He is the stone that we don't move, the breath that we forget until it passes through us.
Graphically, he is made of dark edges and restrained density. Its horns extend the sky's intention. Its fangs do not threaten - they merely remind us that some mouths open only to affirm silence.
Its colours seek neither brilliance nor panache: just the precise contrast between shadow and gaze, between absence of light and inner glow.
This work is for those who know that strength makes no noise, that fire may not be seen, and that certain guardians need no armour: they are already stone, breath, watch.
