This is one of those areas that I have know my entire life, even though these trees were much smaller when I was growing up. I have a great fondness of oak trees which are all so very different and yet, these oak trees seem to be moving in harmony. This is one of my all time favourite images. The fog was just dense enough to hide unwanted elements from sight and it still added a really amazing painterly feeling to this scene. This is one of the reasons I love September so much. The leaves are about to change colour, but are not yet vibrant and orange. I like how everything sort of becomes a monochromatic shade just before autumn, the grass is more yellow, the leaves are a duller yellow green and everything is quite calm in nature.
