About ‘Nuremberg - At the Tiergärtnertor’ by Thomas Bugdoll

The Tiergärtnertor in Nuremberg is part of the Nuremberg city wall. The name of the gate has its origin in a former game enclosure of the burgrave in the nearby moat. It is located south of the Imperial Castle and north-west of Tiergärtnertorplatz, a popular tourist destination in Sebald's Old Town. There are many beautiful old half-timbered houses and sandstone buildings on Tiergärtnertorplatz, including the Albrecht Dürer House, which is just a few metres from the gate. The photo was taken during the so-called blue hour, shortly after sunset.

Nuremberg is the largest city in Franconia and the second largest in the state of Bavaria. The cityscape is characterised by medieval architecture such as the fortress walls and towers of the old town. However, Nuremberg is best known for its Imperial Castle and the medieval Old Town. In addition to the many other sights, such as the Beautiful Fountain, the important churches (Frauenkirche on the main market square, Sebalduskirche or the Gothic St. Lawrence Church) and the historic rocky passages deep beneath the city, Nuremberg also has a diverse museum landscape (Neues Museum, Albrecht Dürer Haus, Germanisches Nationalmuseum, Toy Museum and many more).

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
