An impression from the Sicilian town of Noto, and an example of the typical late baroque architecture of the Val di Noto: The monastery church Basilica del Santissimo Salvatore.
Noto was destroyed by an earthquake in 1693 and completely rebuilt from 1703 onwards; today, as a Sicilian Baroque city, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
