New dunes at the old Hondbosche seawall. Washed up for coastal reinforcement. A beautiful beach was added between Hargen aan zee and Petten. There are hiking, biking and bridle paths.

Al sinds mijn tienertijd is fotografie mijn passie. Ik heb zelfs nog een tijd een donkere kamer gehad. De laatste jaren fotografeer ik met name landschappen in de omgeving van mijn woonplaats Alkmaar. Daar vind je aan de oostkant het beroemde polderlandschap en aan de westkant de breedste duinen van ons land en natuurlijk de Noordzee. Kortom, een prachtige streek voor schitterende foto's van landschappen.
