In the middle of the Westkappelse Zeedijk stands the low lighthouse. Called 't Low Light or Westkapelle Low is a cast iron tower that has four floors and is 16 meters high. The lighthouse has stood on the dike along the coast of Walcheren since 1874 and has survived, among other things, the Battle of the Scheldt and is still one of the most distinctive and authentic lighthouses in the Netherlands.
On beautiful evenings like the one pictured, you have beautiful sunsets and impressive cloudy skies with an immense wide view over the horizon of the North Sea. The endless character with the solitude of this piece of Dutch maritime seafaring history is a favorite image for many a photographer
As a photographer, I love to capture the endlessness and details of the Dutch landscape in strong photo images. By using different techniques and combining them with perspective and composition I create the own dynamics that are often recognizable in my photography work. With my photographs I try to capture a momentum in time where you almost seem to be able to touch the image and the atmosphere is almost tangible.
This photo is available in high quality for photo print, photo wallpaper, print applications or media statements. Of course, an atmospheric coastal photo of this Zeeland landscape is very good to use for styling of interior & office, business space or as an image bank for your content & marketing . Bring attention to the beautiful Dutch landscapes in a unique way and enjoy special Dutch landscape photography every day.
