The world-famous painting the Night Watch by Rembrandt van Rijn has been given a digital makeover. The members of the Night Watch are now displayed on the Herengracht. The illuminated canal houses and lights from the bridge lighting combine well with the Night Watch.

Rembrandt van Rijn was born in Leiden but spent his working life in Amsterdam.
Thanks to the Rijksmuseum where the original Night Watch hangs.

About image-maker Peter Bartelings: as a born and bred Amsterdammer, I feel closely connected - also as a photographer and image-maker - with the city of Amsterdam.
