About the artwork

In the autumnal twilight, when the last rays of the sun bathe the sky in a kaleidoscopic play of colours, a magical moment is revealed on the banks of the Rhine in Cologne. The majestic Hohenzollern Bridge, crowned by a shimmering ribbon of lights, sits proudly above the calm waters as it interweaves the splendour of the past with the vibrancy of the present.
In my self-taken photo, captured in November, the lights on the bridge dance in the gentle evening breeze, a hint of nostalgia and romance in the air. The imposing northern tower of Cologne Cathedral rises up in the right-hand section of the picture, only visible in a cropped view, its silhouette standing out powerfully against the sky, which is soaked in darkness.
The scenery is a tribute to the beauty of the architecture and the history of a city that proudly bears its roots in the past while looking boldly to the future. The illuminated Hohenzollern Bridge serves as a kind of link between the ages, a symbol of the continuity and change that makes the heart of Cologne pulsate.
Captured in this moment in my photo, I feel the magic of the city, the calm of the river and the eternity of the moment. It is an image that is more than just a simple snapshot - it is a poetic ode to the beauty of life, captured in the melancholy of a November evening at Cologne Cathedral.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
