About ‘New York 1935’ by Timeview Vintage Images

This picture beautifully shows that seventy years ago Manhattan already had buildings reaching the sky. The Chrysler building, built in 1930 as the headquarters of the automotive tycoon Walter Chrysler, was the tallest building in New York for four months. In 1931 it was overtaken by Empire State building, that specially added an extra top. The Chrysler building is still the highest brick building in the world. It owes its popularity mainly to the striking dome, which in the evening is even more distinguished by the sophisticated lighting.
The picture was taken from its great competitor. In the background we see the East River, with what is now called Roosevelt Island, and the Queensboro Bridge, which connects Manhattan with Queens. A beautiful picture for anyone who loves the Big Apple. And who doesn't?

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
