Perhaps Germany's most famous castle, Neuschwanstein Castle. The inspiration for the Disney castle.
I had seen many photos's of Neuschwanstein myself, but I wanted to capture this extraordinary piece of architecture with the camera myself.
But I did not want just any photo of this castle. It had to be something personal and special. So I took the long walk from the top of the Tegelberg to arrive after 4 hours at the viewpoint where this photo was taken.
This works gives you a window into the Alps. A thousand little details you can discover in the background. That is what makes this work so special. Not only is the castle in the picture, but the surrounding area also has a place in this work.
For example, you can see the Foggersee or the town of Fussen in the background. Or look at the fine details of the castle itself. Every time, you will find something new.
