Natural fragile silence in a rural detail

by Marjolijn van den Berg

"Natural fragile silence in a rural detail" is a photograph of a beautiful small detail of a fluff on a fluff ball of a common dandelion. There are tiny water droplets on this fluff ball. These tiny droplets were barely visible to the naked eye, they are so small. But with a good macro lens, they can be captured beautifully.
When taking this photograph, I wanted to create a calm, rural, natural atmosphere, so I opted for a shallow depth of field. This puts all the focus on the fluff in the centre of the photograph, and everything in front of and behind it gradually fades away. This creates a calm atmosphere and gives the photograph a sense of depth.
Some of the fluff has already left the ball, so you can vaguely see the lines on the right-hand side in the background of the heart of the fluff ball. These lines follow the same direction as the fluff: from the heart outwards. This photograph has a peaceful and natural atmosphere, partly due to the natural brown tones. In my opinion, this work would look beautiful in a rural interior, for example.
Enrich your home or office with this photograph of a beautiful piece of natural art and enjoy its soothing beauty and fine details every day! This work would look wonderful as wall decoration in a waiting room, bedroom, hall or simply above the sofa! It would also look beautiful on the wall in a meeting room or waiting room (business). ©Marjolijn van den Berg
