Natural elegance: Close-up of a fluff ball

by Marjolijn van den Berg

This wall decoration: "Natuurlijke elegantie: Close-up van een pluizenbol" is a macro photograph of a small part of a beautiful fluff ball from a Tragopogon (Goat's Beard). The wood-coloured fluff stands out beautifully against the turquoise background.
If you zoom in on the photo, you can see that the focus is on the middle fluff, at the transition from stem to fluff. Everything in front of and behind this area gradually fades. This gives a sense of depth to the photograph. At the same time, it also creates a sense of calm in the photograph.
This full-frame scene fits into many different interior styles, as the work comes across as quite calm and natural. The use of a macro lens makes the fluff so large that you can see details that are almost invisible to the naked eye.
This photograph brings tranquillity, refinement and softness to your interior with these beautiful natural fluff particles. The fluff almost seems to float against the turquoise background. This creates a beautiful contrast that is harmonious yet powerful. An eye-catcher for any room. For example, in the bedroom for a calm ambiance, as an eye-catcher in a waiting room or simply to enjoy in the living room!
